The debate concerning centralised and decentralised water purification often becomes ”either/or” argumentation. At Sunstone, we have specialised in decentralised water purification in those situations where it makes the most sense. One of the benefits of decentralised water purification is that one need not use energy and expensive infrastructure to move contamination to centralised facilities – often across large distances.
Ultra clean water
Decentralised water purification treats the contamination locally, allowing for the possibility to route the purified water directly to recipients in that decentralised water purification can create ultra clean water, where chemical compounds, bacteria and viruses are removed.
